Employment Verifications

  Verify the applicant’s dates of employment and reason(s) for leaving.

 Verify if the applicant was subject to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) while employed by each applicable employer.

 Obtain the Safety Performance History (SPH) from every DOT regulated employer for at least the past three (3) years (10 years for CDL positions as defined by 49 CFR Part 383).

Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Search

 Obtain MVR records in each state in which the applicant held a CDL or permit in the preceding three (3) years. A CDLIS report will show which states the driver has been licensed in. MVR history must be placed in the driver’s DQF within 30 days of employment.

Annual MVR must be run (many employers opt for real-time or monthly monitoring of

their drivers).

APTOS Screening reviews projected compliance for DOT pools prior to Q4 and sends notice to customers for selection rate changes due to insufficient testing.

Customer uses APTOS Screening MRO services.
